TRUMP IN JAPAN: President Donald Trump is in Japan, the second stop of his three-country tour of Asia. He met with newly elected Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi this morning, and will soon address U.S. troops on board the USS George Washington.

U.S. Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy is appearing at LaGuardia Airport Tuesday, where he is expected to discuss the ongoing federal government shutdown​'s impact on air traffic controllers, flight safety and delays.

A coffin has been transferred to the Israel Defense Forces and Shin Bet forces inside of Gaza from the Red Cross, the Israeli Prime Minister's Office said in a release on Monday. The IDF will take the coffin to Israel where it will then be taken to the National Institute of Forensic Medicine for identification.
